Help Make The Morbid Anatomy Museum a Reality: Morbid Anatomy Museum Fundraising Drive!
Since 2007, we at Morbid Anatomy have been excavating and celebrating the obscure, the forgotten and the macabre via a blog, lectures, workshops, parties, and open to the public research library. We are now taking Morbid Anatomy to the next level with the creation of Morbid Anatomy Museum: a new 4,200 square foot non-profit institution to open May 2014; this new space will feature an expanded lecture/workshop space, a bar/cafe, a gift shop, an expanded library and permanent collection, a film and publishing arm, live-casting of events, and a temporary exhibition space featuring such extraordinary artifacts as the eccentric Victorian taxidermy of Walter Potter.
This week, we will be running a sort of "pledge drive" on our Facebook Page, Twitter account, and blog. If you love what we do, PLEASE consider making a contribution today, and sharing this appeal with your like-minded friends! Any amount is incredibly appreciated, no matter how small! Thanks so much from all of us at Morbid Anatomy for your support! And just think--if each Facebook follower made a donation of only $5, our goal would be well reached!
