We have many wonderful upcoming events at the Morbid Anatomy Museum!

Gruss vom Krampus! We invite you to join us alongside Ghoul A Go-Go's Creighton and Hendrick's Gin for our annual veneration of Krampus—St. Nicholas' cloven-hooved, chain-swinging, lolling-toungued, child-punishing Eastern-European sidekick! Dust off that old Krampus outfit for our Krampus costume contest with a prize for the best! This year Creighton will be showing clips from his secret stash of bizarre holiday films, we'll have a sing-along with Matt Lake, author of Night of the Krampus, a photobooth designed by Kellfire Bray and Rose Callahan, a raffle, and delicious seasonal libations courtesy of our generous sponsors, Hendrick's Gin.

Join us for an exploration of NYC's most infamous pests: rats, pigeons, roaches, and bed bugs. We'll dive into their fascinating evolutionary and cultural histories, and see how they're able to survive so hardily in our fast-paced, hard-edged city with an expert panel curated by Infested author Brooke Borel (Tuesday, December 1st); we'll take a closer look at Thomas Edison's lesser known experiments into communicating with the dead including his development of a "necrophone" by which to hear and record spirit voices (Tuesday, January 26th); and take a historical survey of technical advances in mortuary science, coffin-making, cemetery equipment and more with registered patent attory, Eric Indin (Tuesday, February 23rd).

To avoid sold out events and gain early access to our upcoming holiday flea market please consider becoming a Morbid Anatomy Museum member! Besides early entry to our seasonal flea markets and advance notice of events, members also enjoy discounted admissions and unlimited free museum entry, and help us keep a roof over our heads! Find out more here.

Lastly, we're thrilled to announce our new Morbid Anatomy Anthology Deluxe Handmade Slipcased Limited Edition shipping mid to late November, just in time for Christmas! This special collector's edition includes a handmade letterpress booklet containing a toast written and signed by artistic advisor Mark Dion; a DVD of filmmaker in residence Ronni Thomas' film Walter Potter: The Man who Married Kittens along with other Morbid Anatomy Presents shorts; a signed and numbered archival 5 X 7 photo print of the Palermo Catacombs by creative director Joanna Ebenstein, AND a one year membership to the Morbid Anatomy Museum. All for $150. Learn more and order your copy here.
