Hi there.
I dig you blog quite a bit. You might like the work of Shelley Jackson, a new york based writer whose work deals with the body. "Half-life" is a book about conjoined twins and truly unlike any novel your likely to read anytime soon. There is also "The Melancholy of Anatomy" which is a collection of short stories. Both are highly recommended and are, in light of your blog, right up your alley.
cheers
christina
