Bookcover, "A Treatise on Adulterations of Food and Culinary Poisons..." 1820

A lovely bookcover, circa 1820, for the headily titled A treatise on adulterations of food and culinary poisons : exhibiting the fraudulent sophistications of bread, beer, wine, spirituous liquors, tea, coffee, cream, confectionery, vinegar, mustard, pepper, cheese, olive oil, pickles and other articles employed in domestic economy ; and methods of detecting them, by Friedrich Christian Accum.

is this for sale...? any other suggestions on developing a collection/resources for obtaining first edition/antique/rare texts relating to poisons, murder and/or psycopathology?

Beautiful! Those serpents framing the cover are amazing. I didn't notice them right away.
